Cute Kitty
I found the cutest pictures of a sphinx cat--like the kind Rachel had on "Friends." Since I was so boring earlier today, I thought I'd resort to animal pictures to redeem myself.

Okay, I'm in Tucson and bored. So I look on my friend's website and read her blog to see what that girl has been up to. I see two pictures that I absolutely cannot refuse to comment on. Pretty kitty! I love the second picture.
Okay again. I'm reading down to the next entry. What on earth happened to you and your foot? I tried to find the original entry explaining the situation, but alas, could not readily find it. How far back do I have to go? I knew I should have looked at your site while I was out of the office for six weeks!
You are so funny. I need to read your blog daily!
Cute! I don't think I could ever own one, but they are almost so ugly they're adorable.
tsk,tsk
If you want to endear yourself to the blog world you should post cute pictures of PUPPIES. Yes, I say Puppies. Specifically-- GOLDEN RETRIEVER puppies.
And as luck would have it, you wouldn't even have to search the net-- I could fire you off--oh a billion or so.
I'm glad to hear your walking now. If only for a bit. And it does make sense that the foot would be achy. I mean not only haven't you used it at all for the last two weeks, but in the previous weeks you didn't use it as much as normal.
Talk to you this weekend.

Hi Peggy,
TUS, huh? Too bad it's summer. Those pictures of the cat are cute, aren't they?
On the foot, I'll try to sum up quickly. You can email me if you want the whole saga. My addy is in my Blogger profile and on my website. But long story short, I broke the fifth metatarsal in my left foot on July 5th. Because of where the break is, it required surgery, which I had on Aug 9th. I wasn't allowed to walk for 2 weeks after surgery, and when I saw the doctor on Wednesday, I was given very limited mobility. In other words, I can walk to the bathroom and back in the fashionable cam boot, but that's about it.
Take care!

Nicole,
I prefer fur on cats myself. (I used to have a calico and a tortiseshell.) But I agree, these pictures fall under the so ugly it's cute category. I'm trying to imagine one of my cats letting me dress her up and put sunglasses on her, and not having much luck. :-)
Patti
Theresa,
You know I have a thing for Siberian Huskies! :-) So when are you going to dress Luna up and put sunglasses on her? I'll post those pictures immediately. ;-)
I'm glad to be walking a little bit too; it's helped my attitude a lot. Although I would prefer more freedom. One step at a time. (NO pun intended.)
Patti
But Patti,
I don't have any pictures of Huskies.
as for dressing Luna up, you know... I might just do that this weekend. And maybe I'll try it on Hellcat too. Can you just imagine? I might end up needing emergency stitching though.
Theresa
Theresa,
I want it noted and recorded that I did not suggest Hellcat be dressed up. I think if you tried that, you'd look like Frankenstein's monster after the emergency room doctor finished stitching you up. Shudder.
Patti
If we're doing puppies, it's got to be either yellow labs, german shepherds, or australian shepherds. Nothing else will do. Well, maybe huskies.
Nicole,
My last two dogs were Siberian Husky/German Shepherd crosses, so I'm partial to both breeds. I don't have any of their pictures scanned in, so I can't post those, but I did find some pictures that reminded me of my last dog, and I'll put those up.
