I finished writing the prologue for TACV today. I'm not sure if I like it. There's some information in it that I think blunts the impact of my first chapter, but I can't think of anyway to rewrite without giving something away. I'll have to mull this over some more.
I'm on my final run through the story now. Yikes! There are one or two short spots I need to rewrite--I'm working on one of them now--but the rest of it, I guess, is largely polishing and honing.
The interesting thing is that as tired as I am, I'm still not sick of this book. Wonder what this means since I always get sick of my stories before I send them in.
