Years ago, I bought a wire mesh basket in a narrow size to see if I liked it. If I did, the plan was to buy more when I had the opportunity. By the time I went back to buy more, they were gone. Nothing like them was on the website or any other online shopping website.
Last month, while I was online shopping, I took a look at the bins and baskets. I didn't expect to find anything I liked because I hadn't in the past, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted to try one--again, to see how I liked it--but unless I wanted to drive to the store, I had to order a set of six.
When they came, I tried them out immediately to organize things in the bathroom. Soaps, lotions, face care products, etc. I loved them! They were the perfect size!
And in half an hour, I used almost all my baskets in the bathroom and I'd bought them for the office!
I ordered three more sets because I wasn't being caught without them, not after the last basket disappeared from the face of the Earth. What I like about them is that they're narrow, but not too narrow. You can fit things in them.
The shelves in the bathroom were full. To the point where I wondered if I needed to throw things away. And I did look at everything before I put it in the basket, but there was nothing to toss. And then, as I filled a couple of them bins, I realized the cluttered, too-full look on the shelves was gone. Suddenly, there was plenty of space and everything looked so organized. There's no other word for it.
I might have to pick up another set of six to finish the bathroom because I'm not giving up my office baskets again.
I bought the same brand of basket in a bigger, shorter size. I haven't tried those out yet, but I'm not as impressed by the squatness of the bins.
After the miracle that occurred in the bathroom, I'm kind of excited to start cleaning up the office. Kind of.
